How to Find Your McDonald’s UK Survey Code
Identify a UK survey participation code, avoid confusing it with other numbers and learn what to do if your receipt is unreadable.
What to look for on the receipt
A UK McDonald’s receipt may show an invitation to the Food for Thoughts survey and a participation code. Its print position and exact appearance can differ by receipt type or print layout. Look for wording about customer feedback or survey participation rather than assuming a fixed position.
A code from a different country’s McDonald’s programme may not work on the UK survey site. The United States McDVoice system, for example, is a different programme.
- Keep your receipt flat and check the whole front and back.
- Look for a survey invitation or website address.
- Separate the code from the order number and other receipt details.
Receipt code versus voucher code
A survey participation code invites you to take the survey. A voucher participation code is issued after eligible completion and may be 12 or 16 alphanumeric characters, according to the UK offer terms.
Our code tool simply checks characters or provides formatting guidance; it has no access to McDonald’s internal systems and cannot confirm whether any code is valid, unused or eligible.
If a code is missing or difficult to read
Try a clearer photo in good light and compare characters carefully. Avoid uploading receipt photos publicly because they can reveal purchase details or unique codes.
If your receipt is missing or the code is illegible, contact McDonald’s through its official help channel. No independent guide can regenerate an official receipt code.
Check the primary source
McDonald’s can change its programmes. For receipt eligibility, genuine vouchers and survey completion, trust its current official services rather than a third-party website.
